This place is a classic-there are so many like this little gem hidden across America-- if you're willing to try. So much better than any chain restaurant- higher quality of food, staff and experience. Everything is made from scratch and everything tastes great-he had the steak and eggs while I had the eggs over easy and delicious sausage. Food comes fast and our service was exemplary. Our waitress told us all the staff have all been there a long time and said, " they treat us right." I like that a lot.

We've eaten here quite a few times but haven't gotten around to writing a Yelp review until today. Today, we made the drive from Battle Creek to Roxy's for breakfast. It's always busy but the wait for food isn't excruciatingly long. We usually order the omelettes and they have yet to disappoint. Everything is always fresh, perfectly cooked. Probably the best omelettes we've had (and we eat at a lot of places). Of course you have to try the famous cinnamon roll! Has a very "hometown diner" feel. Space is a little small but not a deal breaker. We would agree with those saying it's the best breakfast spot in Jackson! Definitely will return!

Looking for something different for breakfast and this was touted as one of the best breakfast places in Jackson. We parked in back and entered through the back door. As i walked in, I stopped, looking puzzled when i realzed i was entering through the kitchen. When i stopped, a friendly voice said come on in and directed us to the dining area. Since the parking is in back the majority of their customers enter through the kitchen. Once in the dining area, we realized it literally was standing room only and there was no waiting area. We stood for about 10 minutes moving from side to side as tables were being served around us. My only complaint was no one bothered to greet us or even acknowledged we were there until a table came open. Being this was my first time there, a friendly acknowledgment would have been nice. Once seated our server was friendly, we placed our orders, and the food came out nice and hot. It was a very popular place and very crowded, rightfully so. Oh, and the coffee was very good. It is definately a great place to stop for some good food.

Great moms and pops local diner. Hospitality was above and beyond. Great smiles and a great atmosphere. Food was great for the diner experience. Ordered BLT and some eggs. Good enough to enjoy and enough to make you come back again. I would rate it a solid 4.3 for everything.

Well, I had heard about this place from my trucking app and decided to come by up here in the outskirts of Detroit. Parking was a little hectic, but I got it down the block. When I arrived I definitely wanted the patio and would be great for breakfast. The inside was packed already. The menu has a very large selection but I already know what I had wanted. I went with the Corned beef with hash browns. Very fulfilling, delicious and satisfying. The portion was so big I took the other half in a box. The waitress was very nice and this made my breakfast a hit. Thank you Roxy cafe for providing a hot delicious meal to the truckers! Will for come back always.
